Try To Make It Anyway

Soooo... this is the song that "Hey Stephen" Barker Liles wrote for Taylor Swift!

Try To Make it Anyway

Your curly hair and your cowboy boots
How can anyone get over you?
They must’ve really been a big old fool, oh baby.
Cause I can’t help it when I look at you,
Every piece of me comes unglued.
Tell me girl, did you feel it too?
Tell me, won’t you tell me?

Cause this could be the real thing baby
If we let it go and just forget it
We’ll be sorry if we don’t lay it on the line
We’ll be wasting time.
And everything inside of me is telling me yes.
That its you and me honey, its our chance.
This world is going crazy, so baby what do you say?
We’ll try to make it anyway.

We’ll take a walk to the river bank,
Bring our guitars, let the music play.
I don’t care if it rains all day, baby.
Cause we can go where we wanna go
Like New York, honey, it’s our show
And we won’t listen if they tell us no, no way.

And this could be the real thing baby
If we let it go and just forget it
We’ll be sorry if we don’t lay it on the line
We’ll be wasting time.
And everything inside of me is telling me yes.
That its you and me honey, its our chance.
This world is going crazy, so baby what do you say?
We’ll try to make it anyway.
Your curly hair and your cowboy boots
How could anyone get over you?
They must’ve really been a big old fool, oh baby.

Isn't it just the second sweetest thing everrrr?

Another Taylor Swift's Secret Messages

I know I'm doing it backwards, because I did the Speak Now album first, but there's no harm doing the Fearless now, right? So, here we go.... Oh, and this is from the platinum edition, by the way.

1. Jump Then Fall: Last summer was magical
OKAY, WHEN IS THIS??? WHERE WAS I??
(again, the tween in me has taken over, please do forgive.)
Apparently, people assume this song is for Joe Jonas too. Because it was in the summer of 2008 when they were dating. Maybe... Phew, Joe sure got a lot of songs from Taylor. I would write that much too if I was dating Joe. (The tween inside me has taken over my body! Help!!) Eh, I think the picture is photoshopped, but it's cute.

2.Untouchable: We always want what we can't reach
I can't found a lot of information on this song. I do found one, it says that the song was originally Luna Halo's, but she wrote the new beautiful melody. That's all.

3. Forever & Always (Piano Version): I still miss who I thought he was
Another song for Joe ;) more on that in the original version.....

4. Come in with the Rain: I won't admit that I'd wish you'd come back
I have to say that this is one of my favorite song from the album, it's beautiful. "Come in with the rain" is an old expression meaning that when bad times come, people come to their senses and realize what they wanted was there the whole time. I don't know for whom she wrote this, but I'm guessing it's someone that she really likes but she's tired trying to get him so she's just going to let him "come in with the rain..."

5. Superstar: I'll never tell
Abigail, Taylor, and Martin!
Well, it's about her obsessing over a superstar. It could be anyone, some says Joe Jonas, or John Mayer, OR Martin from "Boys Like Girls" Hmm. I dunno. Anyone?

6. The Other Side of The Door: What was I really thinking when I slammed the door
Here's a theory. She saw him with another girl and overreacted. She dumped him, and now she realizes she misread the situation and that she was acting out just to watch him fall over himself to apologize. And the black dress part, she refers to it in "Tim McGraw" too, maybe it's the same guy. Though Taylor said, "Trying not to go back in your mind to every laugh and everything you miss." It could be about her ex.

7. Fearless: I loved you before I met you
Miss Swift said, "This is about the perfect first date I haven't had yet." so...it didn't really happened, just like Speak Now.

8. Fifteen: I cried while recording this
Stephen
This song really makes me respect Taylor even more. She gives an advice to girls out there to know what's more important for them. And I love the honesty in this song, this is why people love Taylor. They can relate to her songs.

9. Love Story: Someday I'll find this.
Again, haven't happen yet. But loooove the video!

10. Hey Stephen: Love and Theft
Love and Theft (an American country music duo) is composed of Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson. And you know what? Around the same time, Stephen wrote a song about her too. It's called Try To Make It Anyway. This could be the second cutest thing that a guy did for Taylor (The whole Adam-Taylor-Enchanted thing is just too cute.) I'll post the lyrics with the video later if you're too lazy to look it up. ;)

11. White Horse: All I ever wanted was the truth.
I read in a website that this song, is actually about Drew (from Teardrops on My Guitar). Drew is the best friend that she liked, but he would always talk to her about the other girl he liked. Well, drew and his girlfriend split up, then went to visit Taylor at her house, and said "Are you still interested?" and she wrote this song. I looked up his Facebook and the status said that he's married!
Drew....

12. You Belong With Me - Love is blind so you couldn't see me.
What Taylor said about this is, "I came into the writing session with Liz Rose and said, 'I've got this idea. I had overheard a friend of mine talking to his girlfriend and he was completely on the defensive saying, 'No, baby...I had to get off the phone really quickly...I tried to call you right back...Of course I love you. More than anything! Baby, I'm so sorry.' She was just yelling at him! I felt so bad for him at that moment.

So I came up with the first line 'You're on the phone with your girlfriend, she's upset, going off about something that you said,' and I ran that into the story line that I'm in love with him and he should be with me instead of her. It just became this whole picture. It was really fun for us to write the line, 'She wears short skirts, I wear T-shirts.'" Hmm.. I still think that it's about Drew...

13. Breathe: I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry
This song is about a break up, either with a boyfriend or a best friend. I don't know for whom did Taylor wrote this, but someone said it's for her friend Emily, who left her band.

14. Tell Me Why: Guess I was fooled by your smile.
This song is about falling for someone who hurts her repeatedly. I really hope she doesn't mean it literally. There isn't any buzz about this song that I can find, though. This is a really catchy song, love it.

15. You're Not Sorry: She can have you
This is about a liar, Taylor said. People said it's for the guy in Should've Said No, or White Horse.... So it's either Sam or Drew. But maybe it's Sam...because , you know, the cheating part, make more sense.

16. The Way I Loved You: We can't go back.
Taylor said, "I got this idea for a song about being in a relationship with a nice guy who is punctual and opens up the door for you and brings you flowers…but you feel nothing. The whole time you’re with him, you’re thinking about the guy who was complicated and messy and frustrating.

So I brought that idea, the title and where I thought the song should go to John. He was able to relate to it because he is that complicated, frustrating messy guy in his relationships. We came at the song from different angles. It was just so cool to get in a room and write with him because he really is an incredible writer." I love this song, personally. Can totally relate... Anyway, I thought at first that this song is maybe for Joe, because of how much he liked Joe. But then, I don't know for sure. I mean they haven't even broken up yet, because even Forever & Always was added a day before the final version was due to be turned in.
17. Forever & Always: If you play these games, we're both going to lose.
Here's the highlight of the album. The whole 27 seconds break-up on the phone thing.
This song is about the breakup of her relationship with the incredible Joe Jonas. She said, "It's about watching somebody fade away in a relationship. They said they were going to be with you forever, that they loved you, and then something changed in the relationship and you don't know what it is, but you're watching them slowly drift. That emotion of rejection, for me, usually starts out sad and then gets mad. This song starts with this pretty melody that's easy to sing along with, then in the end I'm basically screaming it because I'm so mad. I'm really proud of that."
She wrote this near the end of the recording process after she broke up with Joe. She had to plead with the president of her record label, Scott Borchetta, to let her add it to the album a day before the final version was due to be turned in.
Joe Jonas told the June 2009 issue of Seventeen magazine that he wasn't bothered about Taylor writing about the break-up of their relationship. He said: "It's flattering. It's always nice to hear their side of the story." Gah, why can't she date the ones that are really nice like Taylor (Lautner), or Adam, OR Stephen.

18. The Best Day - God Bless Andrea Swift
This is clearly for her family, particularly her mother. She said that this is her gift to her mother for christmas, she recorded and made the video secretly. It's really beautiful, I think.

19. Change - You made things change for me
Taylor wrote this song about being on a small record label and having to work extra hard for everything against all the big record labels. Then finally the break comes, which she said was winning the horizon award.

6 things I do at home when school's out

Holiday is here, people! It's time to do things we can't do on regular, boring days! I'm not that kind of person who have to go out or else I'll get bored. I looooove staying at home. Maybe that's why I'm not that athletic.... Ehm, anyway, if you, unlike me, often get bored at home, here's some ideas that will keep you busy ;) forget the homework!!!

1. Learn an instrument
This will only work if you like music. But, who doesn't? You can learn a common instrument like guitar, or maybe something unusual like harp... Anything. You can watch tutorials on youtube, or ask someone to teach you. Who knows maybe you're talented or, maybe you'll enjoy it.

2. Do a makeover!
I do this a lot! I like to cut my own hair and try some different hair dos. Today I did a maiden braid, it looked pretty even though it was really messy. There's a lot you can do, just make sure you know how to do it ;) If you're not sure, google it, check out websites like ehow, or wikihow.
This is my maiden braid!
3. Homemade spa!
This is fun and kinda messy, I like to do this with my besties! Not only that they'd be helpful for cleaning your homemade masks, it will be a lot more fun. And you'll feel prettier after ;) look for a traditional recipes and easy ingredients.

Okay this was 3 months ago, we got jicama mask which is really good for brightening face!
4. DVD marathon
This is for when you're too lazy to do anything, all you got to do is get your favorite movies or tv shows, some snacks, and you're all set! My favorite is Friends and Glee, fyi. Do some stretching after a few hours, to prevent unwanted pains.

5. Bake
I like baking when I'm hungry, but when the cake is done I really don't feel hungry at all.... Anyway, baking is really fun especially if you're a sweet tooth. I like backing cakes and cupcakes because it's easier for me. Haven't tried baking cookies but I'm going to one of these days. You can't look for recipes at all recipes, they have tons of various recipes and people can write helpful reviews about them.
My cupcake!

5. TROLL THE INTERNET!!
I am doing this right now.  There is a lot, A LOT of fun websites I like to visit.
Okay, that's all for now, folks! Enjoy your holiday! :)

All My Loving, I Will Send To You

I wish I have the chance to see these guys together, in person...
Legendary. No one can ever replace you!
And rest in peace, John, George, we'll never forget you.

Sunday, September 18, 2011

Cheers, for more and more legendary things to come!

The story of us would probably takes time to tell. And it's still far from the ending, I hope.
It will be hard for people to understand, because it was also hard for us.
It's bitter and sweet, the kind that will make you laugh and cry.
It's unpredictable, at least it was for us.
It's full of laughs, tears, curses, smiles, surprises, fights, adventures.
It's not perfect, just like us. Perfectly imperfect.
It's not the only story I know, but definitely one of my favorites.
And I hate being all mushy on this kind of thing, but that's who I am...you know that I cry all the time, I'm surprised my tears hasn't ran out yet. And sometimes I feel silly to say this kind of thing, because sometimes I still feel like I'm a kid....but, here goes..
I like how you smile when you're truly happy, how you talk about things you love, how you look when you're confused, and how you're embarrassed for things that so funny it cancel out the embarrassing part.
I hate the fact that I can't get mad at you for long.
And I love it when you spontaneously hold my hand, when you make me smile, how you make me laugh when I'm upset, the smell of your shirt, when you say sweet things, and I love everything about you.

I know it's a little bit early, but...
Happy-another-anniversary, thank you for being there for me :) for infinity, and beyond!

Thank you

Don't expect. Just don't do that. Expecting things will make you disappointed because most of the time, things won't go as you expected.

I forgot, I really want to thank everyone that has wished me a happy birthday, last Monday, 08-08-11.

And everyone that came to my house. You're the best, Tifa, Tasya, Novita, Icha, Nuriski, Madel, Caca, Dito, Fandi, Eca.

And to Abror, thank you so so much for the wonderful, wonderful surprises.

To my father, even though it was too early to celebrate, it was fun :)

And especially to my mother, whom made my birthday unforgettable.

Thank you, it was one of the days that I will remember for the rest of my life.
"I had the best day with you.."

I love you

Update....

HI! So lately I've been like obsessed to make a new video (check out my last post), because turns out I really like to make a video, oh well, I mean it's like really fun and people can see what you actually like to do. Of course, sadly, people that watch my video are probably people that I forced to see it (CHECK OUT MY VIDEO, LIKE, RIGHT NOW!!! IF YOU DON'T WATCH IT I'M GONNA CUT. YOU. OFF. MY. LIFE. *evil laugh*)
Okay maybe not really....-_-
I love 'em.
I just bought Taylor Swift's Fearless Platinum Album, it's awesome. Totally, awesome. I want to sing them all. Anyway, I'll post more later, right now I'm not feeling well because I rocked the red rocking chair (see in my picture there) too fast and now my stomach is sick. Bye.

1979 by Good Charlotte

Oh uh oh
Oh uh oh

Life was simple,
Roger was working round the clock to make a living,
No computers, none of that, he used his two hands,
Ignored the cold war,
His wife would keep him warm.
On the weekends,
He’d load the car up with the kids and they’d go fishing,
No need to work an extra job, there’s no recession,
Damn right he smiled a lot,
They lay awake at night,
So in love.

It was a good, good year, (oh uh oh)
The kids were all right,
“Highway to Hell” beat up “Stayin’ Alive”, (oh uh oh)
The Clash was on the radio,
And mum and dad were still in love,
In 1979,
It was a good, good year.

In the morning,
Robin always woke up early in the kitchen,
She’d make the coffee, pack his lunch and then she’d kiss him,
And he would hold her tight,
When they were newlyweds.
He’d say maybe,
And she would laugh, they knew they’d have another baby,
She’d slave away all day until dinner was ready,
And they would dance so slow to “Just the Way You Are”.

It was a good, good year, (oh uh oh)
The kids were all right,
“Highway to Hell” beat up “Stayin’ Alive”, (oh uh oh)
The Clash was on the radio,
And mum and dad were still in love,
In 1979,
It was a good, good year.

All the decades and the years have passed,
Not every family is built to last,
No time can take away these memories,
Remember when you said to me,
That we’d be all right.

Oh uh oh
The kids were all right,
“Highway to Hell” beat up “Stayin’ Alive”, (oh uh oh)
The Clash was on the radio,
And mum and dad were still in love,
In 1979,
It was a good, good year.

Oh uh oh
Disco couldn’t survive,
With the Dream Police and Rock ‘N Roll High,
Blondie powered ‘Heart of Glass’,
And Mum & Dad bought their first house,
In 1979,
It was a good, good year.
It was a good, good year.

High School

Okay, it has been like almost a month since I've become a high school student. It's nothing like I expected. But almost nothing goes as what I expected, that's why I always expect the unexpected. Okay, not always.
But here's what I learn from the past month.

1. Be brave. Like when a teacher ask a question, just raise your hands as fast as you can, it doesn't matter if your answer is wrong. What counts is your guts to raise your hand. You can be as talented or as clever as you want, but if you're not brave, you won't go anywhere

2. Know what you want. What do you want to be after high school is what matters. You can be the most popular kid in school and be the most pathetic homeless on the next day. So choose your path wisely, it's not easy, I know, the difficult thing is knowing either what you choose is right or wrong.

3. Be active. Except you're having a bad day, there's no excuse on being lazy.

4. Have fun. It's supposed to be the greatest time of your life, right? So just enjoy it. Don't be like super uptight and strict, I love my new friends, even though I miss my old friends soooooo much.

Thursday, July 28, 2011

Sorry, have been busy for awhile now. High school is exhausting, especially the one that takes one hour to your house. Since I can't blog that much because one post will literally take hours, I'm gonna be more active on my tumblr. Check out my tumblr!

Sheep!

Ayesha Leonarda

You are Orange Sheep, who is quiet sort, and is a touchable person.
But you possess feminine attraction as well.
This may seem like flirting to fellow women, and may be misunderstood by men.
You are a sociable, but tend to keep a distance from people, and will not show your real emotions and feelings easily.
Although you are modest, you are a proud person as well.
You don't apologize or yield to things.
You have great tactics to make others take in your demand, without them realizing taht they are doing so.
You are extremely good at negotiating and bargaining.
You tend to feel isolated, and in order to overcome that loneliness, you have lots of interests.
You have sharp eyes, and can make your ideals come true by effectively adopting other people's expectations.
Although you lack leadership sort of action, you have perseverance to take up any challenge.
You can also use money efficiently, and therefore you are a shrewd shopper.
You are good at catching the heart of men.
You will be liked by different type of people.
But this may give them false idea, and cause misunderstanding.
Although you may take men lightly, once married, you will become a devoted wife and a mother.

Dear Taylor.....

Oh. My. God.
Sweetest thing ever. So remember on the Taylor's secret messages on Speak Now? Remember the song Enchanted? Know the secret message? Yes, it was A-D-A-M
Guess what? ADAM WROTE BACK.
Here's what he wrote...

Dear Taylor

One blustery evening last October, I waited impatiently until the clock tolled midnight and then promptly bought Taylor Swift’s new record on iTunes. I played it in the kitchen, I played it in the car, I played it at the studio, I played it on flights to Japan and back; I just couldn’t keep away from it. Speak Now was the indisputable leader of my “top 5″ record list of 2010, which is slightly ironic because the other four albums were abstract experimental/post-rock/ambient works.
I always love decoding the sneaky secret messages hidden in Taylor’s written lyrics, so naturally the day Speak Now came out, I played the whole thing from top to bottom as I added up the capital letters per each song’s set of lyrics.
As track 8 came to a close and the album switched over to track 9 (a breathtaking song called Enchanted and one of my favorites on the entire record), something began to feel curiously “familiar.”
I couldn’t put my finger on it. Why did the song feel so personal? Why was it ringing a bell? Perhaps it was merely the word“wonderstruck” that indeed struck a sweet chord, but before the second chorus hit, I’d already added up the letters:
A-D-A
And then it hit me like a freight train. I didn’t even need to find that last letter “M.” A colorful swirl of memories flashed before my eyes as it all added up. My jaw hit the floor.
The track is absolutely gorgeous and I’m so tremendously honored that Taylor would write such an elegant song and thereby offer a gracious nod in my direction. Needless to say, I was lost for words and utterly smitten. I couldn’t stop smiling.
I figured such an eloquent gesture should be reciprocated by the most polite, heartfelt and respectful response I could possibly muster. It’s no secret that I’m a bit shy, so naturally music was the most articulate way of attempting such a sincere endeavor. How does one respond to such a personal outpouring of emotion and sentiment? I tossed and turned over that one.
They say “timing is everything” and that brings us to now. Today is Valentine’s Day.
And thus, here is my reply…
Listen to the song here:
http://owlcitymusic.com/vday
Dearest Taylor,
I’ll be the first to admit I’m a rather shy boy and since music is the most eloquent form of communication I can muster, I decided to record something for you — as sort of a “reply” to the breathtaking song on your current record. This is what I wanted so badly to tell you in person but could never quite put into words:
Everything about you is beautiful. You’re an immensely charming girl with a wonderful heart and more grace and elegance than I know how to describe. You are a true princess from a dreamy fairy tale; a modern Cinderella. I’m terribly sorry it’s taken me such a long time to reply but I figured Valentine’s Day was the perfect time to write this note to you and simply say… I was enchanted to meet you too.
Love,
Adam
Isn't that the sweetest thing or what? You have to listen to the song cover by Adam. He changed the last lyrics,"Please don't be in love with someone else. Please don't have somebody waiting on you." to "I was never in love with someone else. I never had somebody waiting on me, because you were all of my dreams come true, and I just wish you knew, Taylor I was so in love with you." So. Frickin. Adorable.

For you

I love your smile, your eyes, your voice, your hair, your smell, your sense of humor.
And I love how I feel about you.
Not because I'll be the envy of every girl that walks by when I'm with you.
Also not because you're so difficult to figure out...
It's because my heart skips a beat every time you look at me.
Because every love song I hear reminds me of you.
Because you're the only person I'm nervous to talk to.
Because your smile is the most amazing smile I've ever seen.
And because in my eyes, you're perfect for me.
And I love the fact that Jason Mraz's songs remind me of you.
I know sometimes I think it's too good to be true. Maybe it is.
Sometimes it's so frustrating that I wanna give up. Just get over it.
But every time I want to, I realize. It's not that I can't. I don't want to.
Take a chance on me. Let me get to know you.
But I do hope you do whatever that truly makes you happy :)

This goes to you, I hope you know.

Hi!

I have graduated! Yes people, I am now (almost) officially a senior high school student. I just need to apply to a new school first.
Earlier this month, we got our national exam score. And I was crushed. Devastated. Well, I'm sad, really sad. Not even close to my target. My scores are actually pretty good, accept for math. Grrrreat. Now I can't get to my dream school. And stupid me, didn't apply to international-based school. For a few days, lots of people gave me pep talks. I was having a pep talk overload. My twitter updates are like, so annoying. Got a lot of unfollows, which I've known from unfollowr newsletter (thanks a lot for that!). But of course, there's a lesson to be learned. I guess I figured if I go to a really good school but can't keep up the good grades, I won't get to a good college. And that's really important.
Life is fair. I mean, a lot of people say it isn't, but actually it is. Think about it, every time something good happens to you, something bad happens too. Vice versa. They just don't realize it because they rarely looking at the bright side.
I cut my bangs! I think I look so much better, and younger ;) lol. Anyway, sometimes a change is good, right?
Okay I gotta go, I should be at school now to pick up the papers. Bye!
